As part of the IV edition of the International Women's Biennale, themed "Breathing with the World" – at Magazzino 26 in Porto Vecchio, Trieste – the artist Chiara Spizzo will perform her piece "Inanna – A Sound Journey" on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 5:00 PM, at Sala Luttazzi in the enchanting setting of Magazzino 26, Porto Vecchio - Trieste.

Inanna – a Sound Journey is a ritual performance where the sounds of voice, harp, shamanic drum, and other sacred instruments evoke the initiatory journey of the Sumerian goddess Inanna. It accompanies her not from the first to the last breath but from the last to the first breath of her rebirth.
Quella di Inanna è una storia di Resurrezione al femminile che, evocata oggi, diventa una storia di Resurrezione del Femminile in tutti i suoi aspetti a lungo sopiti e mutilati.
In her descent into the underworld to meet her counterpart, sister Ereshkigal, Inanna is forced to leave behind, one by one, her garments, her qualities, her identity, her name, facing the dissolution of the ego and death: a necessary passage for her rebirth and acquisition of new awareness – hence, power.
Attraverso i suoni evocativi della voce, degli strumenti e della parola poetica, gli spettatori si immergeranno in una dimensione onirica in cui potranno seguire Inanna nel suo Viaggio, accedendo in prima persona al potere di questo antico racconto e connettendosi al suo cuore pulsante attraverso la chiave del proprio respiro.
The cyclical succession of inhalation and exhalation, which we all constantly experience, indeed reflects the life–death–rebirth cycle that underlies all the cycles regulating our bodies and life on our planet. This resonates powerfully in the descent and ascent journey of the Goddess.
La connessione al respiro, unita al suono e al suo potere di riattivare in noi memorie ancestrali, potrà dunque risvegliare la consapevolezza delle continue morti e rinascite a cui, come Inanna, ci sottoponiamo (o a cui cerchiamo talvolta di opporre resistenza) nel corso della nostra vita, che sono ciò che ci permette di trasformarci ed evolvere, incarnando una versione sempre più integra ed espansa di ciò che siamo chiamati ad essere.

Nell’ambito della IV edizione della Biennale Internazionale Donna dal tema “Respirare con il Mondo” – al Magazzino 26 del Porto Vecchio di Trieste – in onore e memoria di Maria Campitelli, si terrà un evento speciale intitolato "VIVA LA VIDA / VIVA MARIA” venerdì 22 dicembre 2023, alle ore 18, presso la Sala Luttazzi nel suggestivo scenario del Magazzino 26, Porto Vecchio - Trieste.
L'evento sarà un tributo alla straordinaria vita e carriera di Maria Campitelli, figura di spicco nella critica d'arte, curatrice di numerose mostre ed eventi di pittura, musica e danza, nonché di "public art". Giornalista di lunga data, Maria è stata la fondatrice del Gruppo 78 International Contemporary Art, contribuendo in modo significativo alla scena artistica locale ed internazionale. Nata in una famiglia di artisti, con una zia amante dell'arte e della musica e una madre appassionata di pittura, Maria Campitelli è cresciuta in un ambiente intriso di creatività. Suo padre, Matteo Campitelli, pittore e ritrattista, ha lasciato un'impronta indelebile sulla sua vita e sulla sua passione per l'arte.
The event will be introduced by opening remarks from Šeherzada Ahmetović, President of the International Women's Biennial, and Giorgio Rossi, Councilor for Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Trieste.
Saranno presenti testimonianze significative da parte di coloro che hanno avuto il privilegio di condividere momenti e idee con Maria Campitelli, tra cui Lucia Starace, Francesco Carbone e Pierpaolo Ciana.
Durante la serata, gli artisti e amici del Gruppo 78 omaggeranno Maria con performance video, esplorando il suo impatto e la sua eredità nell'ambito artistico. Saranno presenti Angela Pietribiasi, Betta Porro, Cecilia Donaggio Luzzatto-Fegiz, Bruna Daus, Elisa Vladilo, Elisa Zurlo, Fabiola Faidiga, Giuliana Balbi, Guillermo Giampietro, Lucia Flego, Lucio Perini, Massimo Premuda, Miriam Del Bianco, Nadia Moncheri, Olga Danelone, Paola Pisani, Tea Giorgi.

Nell’ambito della IV edizione della Biennale Internazionale Donna dal tema “Respirare con il Mondo” – al Magazzino 26 del Porto Vecchio di Trieste – si propone l’evento “Art & Food”.

Stefano Comelli, scultore di eccellenza nato a Trieste e residente a Versa di Romans d’Isonzo, con una notevole presenza in simposi e mostre, si distingue come un artista poliedrico, coniugando tradizione scultorea, sperimentazione e innovazione. Oltre all'attività artistica, Comelli ha contribuito alla promozione culturale attraverso corsi e organizzazione di manifestazioni in collaborazione con associazioni culturali come MAX ART e Olympus. Dal 2015, tiene atelier artistici e corsi di scultura con il cioccolato. Nel 2018, ha progettato il Presepe per il Vaticano, fungendo da direttore artistico e coordinando la realizzazione di sculture di legno esposte in Piazza S. Pietro nel dicembre 2022 insieme ad altri 10 scultori.

Presso BID23ART Stefano Comelli si esibirà nell’arte performativa della scultura live, intagliando una forma di cioccolato. Lo scultore si ispirerà alle opere dell’artista Nevia Gregorovich per la sua creazione.

Nevia Gregorovich, a pianist and painter of Istrian origin, a graduate in piano from the Conservatory of Milan, consistently dedicates herself to artistic research, exhibiting both in Italy and abroad. Her works are featured in art galleries, museums, public and private collections. Living and working between Milan, Trieste, and Barcelona, her avant-garde music performances are often connected to multimedia exhibitions where she enjoys combining art in a comprehensive exploration of osmosis driven by the desire for beauty, satisfied only through wonder. Through her macro photographs from the 'erotic fruit' series displayed at the exhibition, the artist will guide us on an imaginatively impactful journey with a touch of irony and zest for life. These photos have inspired the poems of poet Maddalena Capalbi and have given life to the evenings "R'osè" and the creative cooking project called "Il giardino delle delizie." The poems will be recited by the artist and Antonio Schiavulli.

Fabiana Romanutti, journalist and editor of QUBÌ, a philosophy graduate with a past as a high school teacher (of Italian, Latin, and history), retains a passion for dissemination and sharing knowledge and beauty. She has always been involved in microhistory and, consequently, food culture. Hence, she decided to create a monthly magazine that tells everyone about the beautiful things in our region. And if not everything is there, there is enough! Hence, QUBÌ. The journalist, a special guest, will share her critical vision on the art of gastronomy and introduce sculptor Stefano Comelli.

Lisa Rossi, an expert in food and wine of the territory, with a fervent passion for local flavors, specializes in the field of digital communication. She has played an active role in organizing events focused on food and beverage, including numerous editions of Chocofest in Gradisca d'Isonzo, where she curated workshops and meetings with the world's top chocolatiers. Active in raising awareness and providing education on organic products. Known as a "wine promoter," she enthusiastically dedicates herself to promoting Friulian wines, with a particular focus on Ribolla Gialla. She has successfully organized various events that have brought together enthusiasts of food and wine, Michelin-starred chefs, and local producers. Among her various activities, she works with the monthly food and wine magazine Èsquisito.

"NITI" at the International Women's Biennale at Warehouse 26 – Old Port of Trieste

The International Women's Biennale is pleased to present, as part of the IV edition of the International Women's Biennale with the theme "Breathing with the World" – at Warehouse 26 in the Old Port of Trieste – the exceptional dance performance "Niti," a generational encounter between two prominent authors, Senka Baruška and Jasna Čižmek Tarbuk. Both committed to promoting the advancement of contemporary dance in their respective contexts, the two choreographers, despite coming from different backgrounds in terms of training and aesthetics, share a profound exploration of movement and the meaning of gesture.

Senka Baruška presents a choreography that draws on fragments of her previous works, shaped for specific locations and set to traditional music from the Kvarner region, where the surrounding environment becomes an equal partner for dancers and music. On the other hand, Jasna Čižmek Tarbuk's choreography was born during a residency in Lovran, inspired by the relaxing movement of waves and the music of the handpan. Finally, the authors challenge conventions by exploring more energetic group dynamics based on animal movements, seeking to understand the nature of connections, the ease with which they can be interrupted, and the intrinsic dilemma between aggregation and separation.

La BID23ART, IV Esposizione Biennale Internazionale Donna, in collaborazione con il Circolo Duinate, è lieta di presentare una eccezionale performance di Gioco Danza che si terrà sabato 2 dicembre alle ore 15.00 presso gli affascinanti spazi del Magazzino 26.
In questa occasione unica, le giovani allieve di Carolina Bagnati, talentuosa coreografa e insegnante di danza, avranno l'opportunità di danzare tra le straordinarie opere d'arte esposte, dando vita a uno spettacolo unico ed emozionante.
La performance promette di trasportare il pubblico in un viaggio sensoriale, dove movimento e creatività si fonderanno armoniosamente con le opere d'arte circostanti. Gli spettatori avranno l'opportunità di immergersi completamente in questa esperienza unica, catturando l'essenza di "RESPIRARE CON IL MONDO" attraverso la danza e l'espressione corporea.

La BID23ART, IV Esposizione Biennale Internazionale Donna, in collaborazione con l’imprenditore esperto in risorse umane e comunicazione Fabrizio Gherlani, è lieta di presentare la conferenza “Donne & Azienda, Donne & Professione: Esperienze Nelle Pmi In Italia E Nel Mondo”

La visione del mondo aziendale con il femminile attraverso delle testimonianze di imprenditori e di imprenditrici, nel mondo delle libere professioni e delle piccole e medie imprese italiane, dove la presenza delle donne in ruoli chiave è risultata essere una delle situazioni migliori per garantire lo sviluppo e la crescita delle aziende stesse.

Dati oggettivi dimostrano che la creatività e le attitudini naturali delle donne, specialmente quando consideriamo i gruppi di lavoro misti, danno certamente un contributo unico, che al giorno d'oggi molte imprese ancora non hanno perfettamente compreso.

Alessandra Spigai, un'artista multidisciplinare, presenta le sue opere alla BID23ART. Il suo linguaggio artistico, poetico e materico, riflette la continua ricerca del significato profondo della vita e dell'identità esistenziale umana, spirituale e naturale. La sua poetica si manifesta attraverso il travaglio del vivere e la ricerca dell'evoluzione interiore, spesso utilizzando simboli, segni, oggetti ed eventi in una relazione magica. Il suo lavoro è stato recensito su diverse piattaforme online, evidenziando il suo contributo significativo alla scena artistica contemporanea.

“L'Uguaglianza di Genere nel Settore Lavorativo, Sociale e Culturale: Norme e Iniziative per il Superamento delle Differenze di genere”

Evento collaterale che mira a promuovere un approccio innovativo: L'Uguaglianza tra uomo e donna come Fondamento per una Società Equa in tutti i suoi aspetti, dal mondo del lavoro alla sfera sociale e culturale. L'obiettivo principale è quello di superare le barriere che ancora persistono in molte società, consentendo a tutti di accedere a opportunità paritarie.
Un talk che trova la sua innovazione nel confronto e che si pone come obbiettivo quello di sottolineare non solo le discriminazioni presenti nel mondo femminile ma di uniformare questa difficolta di genere ad entrambi.
